This logo was chosen by the NOCO film meetup for use in films! They wanted a logo that represents Colorado filmmakers and their enthusiasm for their great state.

I began with the shape of Colorado and explored various iconic filmmaking related shapes. I ended up with a shape that references the iconic Colorado welcome sign and also looks like a film slate.

“Filmmakers who work primarily in Colorado are encouraged to add this logo to the credits of their film. Like Georgia’s peach or New Mexico’s viewfinder, this logo will add local character to any production made in the state.” - Film in NoCo
