Nebrakagin
I wanted to imagine what it would look like if a font was made for the Nakagin Capsule Metabolist architecture project. This was the first inspiration. It could have appeared on signage, promotional printed objects, stencils, mailboxes, menus, capsule numbers, floor wayfinding, posters, and anything that would have advertised the idea or place of Nakagin.
The second point of inspiration is the welcome sign at the border of the state of Nebraska that reads “NEBRASKA... the good life.” I find the original letterforms on this sign quite related to those found in the Nakagin logotype.
